Ecommerce websites can often be large, cumbersome, and have fast-changing product catalogs and content. Getting your products discoverable to the user is the end objective, and a key part of this is ensuring Google can index products efficiently, and interpret the many ecommerce product variations – such as variable products, unique URLs for product variations, and stock levels. This talk will explore some methods of helping Google better decipher and determine user value propositions across your product catalog, and methods you can implement into your workflow to help mitigate any indexing and discoverability issues during periods of product turnover.
