About this Session

Crawl Budget is a term used to describe the number of pages Search Engine bots crawl and index on a website within a given timeframe. The number of pages Google crawls, your ‘Budget’, is determined by website size, its health and the number of links to your site.

Crawl Budget tends to become an issue for medium or larger websites that publish rapidly changing content and where new content is not being crawled or indexed. In this session, we will determine what Crawl Budget is and techniques to ensure every crawl is optimised (to make the most of each).
